Instrumentation EngineeringThe development of instrumentation engineering at ITRC is to realize the concept and design of the research of instrument and instrumentation. With the aids of the versatile and exquisite machines and well-handed-on skilled technicians and engineers, the key components in optical systems and control circuit built in the automatic instruments are fully accomplished inside the center.
We can produce the precise aspherical glass lens, bi-concave lens, bi-convex lens of maximum 110 mm diameter to meet the visible and infrared spectrum applications. Some lenses are used in the outer space environment. Several control technologies are developed for automatic requirements. They are image sensing and processing technology operated under FPGA device, auto-focusing technology, and flexible home-made microprocessor control module technology. With over 20-year's experiences in machining, some technicians can achieve the precise and complicated mechanical parts in the machine shop. 5-axis machining with surface roughness less than 10 nm and run out less than 50 nm in a 200 mm working piece is available.
