Panoramic Observation System

Panoramic observation system
Introduction
Panoramic Observation System (POS) is a ground-based remote sensing instrument that contains a Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, a linear CCD, a rotation stage and a PC controller. The telescope has a focal length of 525 mm, an IFOV of 13.3 µrad and a FOV of 3.8 degrees. In addition, the rotation stage enables this instrument to take panoramic images.
Technology
- Effective focal length measurement
- Geometric distortion correction
- Radiation response measurement
Specification
- Telescope: clear aperture 130 mm, focal length 525 mm, IFOV 13.3 µrad, FOV 3.8 deg
- CCD: 4096-pixel linear CCD
- Photo response non-uniformity (PRNU): < 10%
Application
- Dam structure distortion monitoring
- Bridge distortion monitoring
